Good food. Burger tasted like an old school place, could have been an order to serve, but it's tasted really great as they served it. Sauces are great. They have a sauce that tastes like a spicy mayo mixed with a tiny bit of bbq sauce. Well executed fried food that, right temp and very crispy chicken sandwich and fried pickles. That's hard for a lot of places to get right it seems. Good environment and our server was very friendly on multiple occasions. Extremely reasonable prices for what we ordered, but I'll have to come back to try more food to give a full review. My guess is the fish and chips is where it's at with this place
Three letters describes it all! OMG!!! Out whale watching and wanted a bite to eat. Stopped by and grabbed the Capris bites and the Pearl Street Chicken Sandwhich! It was so delicious, and the people there behind bar were so nice! Definitely hitting the food spot again!
This was a prefuction before our dinner next door, drinks were great service was friendly, the food I saw looked good, maybe next time for food
Great little neighborhood bar. Football on the TVs, cold beer and a small dog friendly patio.
My favorite bar in Tacoma. I was looking for a place to watch a huskies game last season and no bars were showing it since the game was on the Peacock app. The manager let me cast my phone to the TV and other huskies fans started rolling in to watch not long after. Love this place.
Coles is great! They serve breakfast in the morning and lunch starting at noon. I've gotten burgers, cheese curds, fries, and onion rings here. My friends got the juevos rancheros. They allow children and its a smaller space. Some of the TVs have weird coloring to them and the fireplaces are like half way up the walls.
My husband and I stopped here before Zoo Lights. The food was excellent bar food and the prices were incredible. We had the fried pickles, shared a three piece fish and chips (more than enough for two), and had five drinks (total, not each!). The bill was less than $45. Amazing. Service began slow and picked up after our initial drink order. The noise level was a bit high due to a few loud and amorous people at the bar. No big deal for adults and we'll definitely return next time we're in the area, but I might think twice before bringing little kids here.
